Dorfner Group and FieldBots GmbH enter into a development partnership.

The Nuremberg-based Dorfner Group has agreed with FieldBots GmbH to jointly develop the FM robotics fleet management system FieldBots OS. The internationally active multi-service provider will contribute its extensive robotics expertise to the partnership. In return, the technology company FieldBots will prioritize software features that support the Dorfner Group’s daily use of its robotic systems. The non-exclusive results of the joint development will benefit the entire cleaning industry.

Alexander Feil from FieldBots comments: “To our knowledge, the Dorfner Group was the first large cleaning company in the Lünendonk list to employ a dedicated Head of Robotics. For them, automated cleaning was not a marketing gimmick right from the start but an integral part of the corporate strategy. We are pleased about the spirit of partnership in the collaboration.”

The first step was to integrate the Dorfner robots already being used by customers into FieldBots OS. The live data provides FieldBots with critical feedback from the field and enables it to optimize FieldBots OS for the needs of large FM service providers and heterogeneous robot fleets. The roadmaps and requirements of the two companies are aligned through regular coordination.
